“Lae ja Nonu (Take it away, Nonu)”, Rosh yelled at the TV, at the top of his lungs.

This was Cape of Comorin - the Cape Reinga of India – almost at the southernmost tip of the peninsula. We were in a town called Kanyakumari in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu.

"Well, Jesus is said to have risen from the dead," said Rosh, "What makes you think he was the only one to do so?"

"Jesus did," remarked Josh, "because he could. He was the son of God."

"Let Buddh help you reach that ultimate point. Then certainly, if you meet him there, kill him. You will be truly free."

"Then why are Zen masters," asked Josh, "who teach their disciples to kill the Buddh on the way, still clinging on to Buddh themselves?"

“Will you leave us to beg on the streets?” Isha turned her face away in anguish, “while you illuminate the world. Why must Yashodharā always pay the price of Siddharth’s enlightenment?”

Her world was falling apart, and she with it. Rosh felt pity. He knew how hard it was going to be for her.

"I have left so much behind", Pi said, "In the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go."

"But what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye."

"Why did you do it?" he asked.

"He didn't eat them at lunch, so he didn't want them. I wanted them, so I took them." Josh said reasonably.

"Beware son," said Rosh, "for the mind justifies what the heart desires."

“When you stop crying and start doing, the world notices it too. Even enemies begin to respect you. Then help arrives. Your luck turns.”

“When the mule had stopped braying, the villagers noticed the sudden silence. One peeked in to see if the donkey was dead.”

"But Ma, a million dollars is a lot of money," Josh objected, "it won't even come in an envelope?"

"Yes, it will." Rosh came to her aid, "In May 2009, there were still 336 USD 10,000 notes in circulation."

"If she picks the black pebble, she would marry me and your debt would be forgiven."

"If she picks the white one, she need not marry me but your debt would still be forgiven.”

“Every man loves two women”, Isha flared, “one is the creation of his imagination and the other is not yet born.”

“You’re not a figment of my imagination”, Rosh pacified her, “And you were born a long time ago.”

“It is like a home is bought by 10 people, and one owner needs some money. So he sells a part of his share to the other owners or new owners and partly cashes his equity out. How can that be bad?”

"The income from these assets will go overseas to make the foreign investors richer," Isha argued.

"Enforcing the right-to-die by law puts society on a 'slippery slope' with huge potential for abuse."

"Its interpretation can eventually reach a point where what is allowed would have been unacceptable initially."
